When Travelling, Cruising Northern Climes Is So Beautiful

Oh my goodness how wonderful a christmas break have I just had!  I went on a snowy holiday – cruising the atlantic and northern scandinavian seaways.  The ship was only quite small and thus very comfy and not full of the usual loud mouthed holiday maker blasting all over the place about wanting ketchup on chips or any such nightmare.   The beauty of about choosing a smaller cruising line is that they do cater for the niche groups and because they are by nature smaller, and thus a tad dearer than the all inclusive gigantic hotels onf the seas, they can cater for groups wanting a little more finesse.   It was very interesting looking at the choice of offshore excursion options.  some very expensive afternoons out with huskys and sledges.  Then there was the snowtrecking, which was basically a case of strapping on large racquet shaped shoe covers that stopped the feet from sinking too low into the deep snow.   The sledges and vintage transport covered in twinkly lights was just magical with  illuminated beading a boon when out in the wilds too.

A cruise offers fantastic food and the most exsquisite service known to man or woman.  Everyone on the housekeeping team feel its there life’s mission to make your hoiday go a smoothly, effortlessly and beautifully as possible.  I can’t imagine flying anywhere now!
